MICROBEST APPOINTS NEW COO WITH DIVERSE MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE
WATERBURY, CT, January 9th 2024 – Microbest, Inc., the firearm industry’s leading manufacturer of tight tolerance metal components for pistols, revolvers and rifles, is excited to announce the appointment of Will Brown as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). He is a US Army veteran with extensive experience in operational excellence, including lean manufacturing, systems & process expertise, and change management.
He will play a pivotal role in Microbest’s continuous efforts to drive growth and enhance operational efficiency. Will has a remarkable talent for cultivating team-based high-performance cultures with emphasis on employee development, continuous improvement and accountability.

Mr. Brown's most recent role was as the Site Leader/Director of Operations of a 100,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Fall River, Massachusetts for PLZ Corp. Before joining PLZ Corp, he held senior positions in Honeywell, Tegra, and Smith’s Medical. Mr. Brown began his career in the US Army serving in both Air Defense and Military Police Corp.

In his new role, Mr. Brown will oversee Microbest’s day-to-day operations, working closely with the other members of the leadership team to execute the company's strategic vision and drive operational efficiencies.
