Meet the Engineering Team
The Microbest Engineering team utilizes advanced technology, sophisticated programming methods and vast practical experience to develop new products and to continuously improve activities on legacy products.
Our engineers have broad experience using CAD/CAM software systems. Microbest currently uses the latest versions of SolidWorks and Surfcam as our main software packages, which we use extensively to verify processes in virtual conditions far in advance of actual product machining. This allows Microbest to eliminate potential issues that might otherwise impact production. Microbest engineers are exceedingly skilled at modifying CNC programs to take full advantage of variable and macro programming, which further strengthens our production processes.
Our engineers also have extensive experience working “hands-on” with the full spectrum of both manual and CNC machine tools. Each of our staff members can independently set up and prove out the processes, programs and tooling they have created and specified for new products, or for improvements targeting legacy processes and parts. In addition, the Microbest Engineering team designs and manufactures all machining fixtures and gages used in our manufacturing processes.
The Microbest Engineering Team is highly collaborative. Planning of new processes, potential countermeasures to issues and final solutions are the result of multiple internal discussions among team members. Microbest Engineering makes every effort to maximize the team’s 200+ combined years of engineering and machining experience to bring superior results to our manufacturing processes and to our customer’s products.
