Meet The Leadership Team
Microbest has a long history of successful leadership, dating back to the company’s founding. Corporate leadership has developed a company with a well-earned reputation for producing high-quality parts by implementing new efficiencies and upgrading production processes.
Michael Greenwald
Michael Greenwald stepped into the roles of President and CEO of Microbest in the summer of 2024. Prior to this, he served as General Manager at both the Barnes Aerospace East Granby and Windsor facilities, where he spearheaded major business transformation initiatives. These efforts were instrumental in elevating Barnes' revenue to $180 million.
Earlier in his career, Michael was Vice President and General Manager at Connecticut Tool & Manufacturing. During his tenure, the company expanded from a $10 million operation to a $50 million enterprise. He played a pivotal role in decentralizing operations, overseeing facility expansions, and securing long-term agreements with major customers.
Michael also held key leadership positions at Birken Manufacturing and Pratt & Whitney. He holds a Master of Science in Management from Purdue University's Krannert School of Management, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hartford.
